Sketchbook page: Cover Designs

I had quite a few ideas for how the front cover of The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas should look like. I tried full colour and black and white, and also tried different font styles - the first one I made the writing look like a child's because the book is written from a young boy's view, and the other two I took inspiration from Barbara Kruger.
Although I didn't use these as the final cover I think they helped me a lot as I took aspects from each of them through to the final design.
